For waiting parents and students, there is a very small waiting area inside but unless there are multiple students taking lessons in your family, it is best to wait in the car. Also, there is a courtyard in the center of the plaza, accessible by the front and right of Prestige Cleaners that is available to wait in when weather permits. Simple snacks or treats are allowed in the studio as long as students dispose of wrappers, etc. outside in the dumpster at the back of the parking lot.

Music or other costs – The cost of each student’s music, CDs, festival or audition fees will be billed to you when it is issued.

Practice Requirements – All students are asked to practice a minimum of five days per week, following the written practice assignment. Continued inconsistency with this policy (barring illness) could be considered as grounds for student dismissal

Suzuki Practice Requirements – All Suzuki students are also asked to practice a minimal of 5 days a week and listen to the CD a minimum of 5 times per week Suzuki Parents and/or mentors, are expected to attend the lesson and practice with the student at home except in the case of older students. Inconsistency with this policy could be considered as grounds for student dismissal.

Instrument – All students must have an instrument for practice. The first choice is always an acoustical piano, however beginning students may begin with an electric or digital piano that has weighted key action, but must upgrade to to a full size instrument, either acoustical or high end digital piano at the completion of Level 2 for traditional method study and at the of Suzuki Book 1 for Suzuki method study. I will mention that since the Suzuki method is an accelerated method, Suzuki students will not progress as quickly on the smaller keyboards. Please consult me before you buy any instrument. Many times an acoustical (REAL) piano is less expensive than a digital.
